Some easy at home recipes: 

• Add 4-5 threads in a glass of hot milk. Wait for 7-8 mins until the milk is warm and saffron has released the flavor and color. Add sugar/honey to taste and serve. Consume regularly for best results.
• Add 5-8 threads in approx 20 ml warm water. Keep it overnight and use it for preparing desserts, sweets etc at home.
